One player. Double points. Maximum impact. With the new Captain Feature, you choose one player from your lineup to be captain before each matchday – and earn double points for their performance. This adds a whole new tactical layer to your lineup: do you go with your reliable top performer, or go all-in on a hidden gem with an easy fixture?
How it works:
Before each matchday, you choose one player from your starting lineup to be captain. The captain's points earned are doubled for that matchday. During MLS double gameweeks, both of the captain's matches are even doubled. If no captain is selected, you'll earn normal points – but no player will be doubled.
How to choose your captain:
Option 1: Tap the Captain button below the pitch to open an overview of all players in your lineup – just one tap is all it takes.
Option 2: Tap an already-placed player on the pitch again and simply activate the Captain toggle in the player window.
Your captain is highlighted on the pitch with a white outline. As long as no captain has been selected, an orange indicator will remind you to make your choice.
