⭐ Captain Feature – One player. Double points. Maximum impact.
With the new Captain Feature, you choose a player from your lineup as captain before every matchday – and earn double points for their performance. This brings a whole new tactical layer to your lineup: do you go with the reliable top performer, or go all-in on the hidden gem with the easy opponent?
How it works:
Before every matchday, you choose a player from your starting lineup as captain
The captain's points scored are doubled on the matchday
On MLS double gameweeks, both of the captain's games are even scored double
If no captain is chosen, you receive normal points – but no player's points are doubled
How to choose your captain:
Option 1: Tap the Captain button below the pitch to open an overview of all players in your lineup – one tap is all it takes.
Option 2: Tap a player already in your lineup on the pitch again and enable the Captain toggle in the player window.
Your captain is highlighted on the pitch with a white outline. As long as no captain has been chosen, an orange indicator reminds you to make your choice.
Good to know:
🟡 Available in Arena leagues and Rush Challenges – not currently in Classic leagues
✅ Available in all competitions
⚙️ Can be enabled or disabled at any time in Arena leagues via the Admin Settings
📲 iOS: Update 4.8.0 available manually in the App Store since 13.07.2026
🤖 Android: Rollout may take a little time – enable automatic updates or check the Play Store
