What happens after the season ends? After the final matchday, everything initially stays the same. Your league continues as usual. Teams, points, budgets, and market values remain unchanged. Points are only reset on the first matchday of the new season. Achievements and championship stars are awarded shortly after the season ends.
Resetting the league
As long as no reset is performed, your league remains unchanged. Players who leave the Bundesliga will stay in your squad and can still be sold at their frozen market value.
A reset can only be carried out by the admin and should always be agreed upon within the league.
Important: A reset cannot be undone. Since version 4.6.0, the appearance bonus of the league will also be reset.
Reset options at a glance
Reset players and points "Hard Reset" All teams and all season points are deleted.
Reset players only "Soft Reset" All teams are reset. Season points remain until the start of the new season.
What happens after a reset?
Option with team allocation "Classic Mode" You receive a random team worth 100 million in Bundesliga and Women’s Bundesliga 50 million in 2. Bundesliga
Additionally, you get a starting budget of 50 million in Bundesliga and Women’s Bundesliga 25 million in 2. Bundesliga
Option without team allocation "Money Mode" All teams are deleted. You start with 200 million in Bundesliga and Women’s Bundesliga 100 million in 2. Bundesliga and build your squad entirely from scratch.
After a reset, you can choose whether to continue in Money Mode or Classic Mode for the new season.
Achievements and appearance bonus
Achievements generally remain. Some achievements can only be earned once per manager per league and will not be awarded again after a reset. New managers can still unlock them.
The cash bonus for achievements can be disabled in private leagues. Matchday rewards remain active. The appearance bonus is reset when a reset is performed.
Tie-breakers at the end of the season
If two managers have the same number of points, the number of matchday wins decides first. If those are also equal, the highest single matchday score determines the ranking.
Transfers, promoted teams, and player images
New teams, transfers, and promoted clubs are added gradually. Usually, all data is fully updated by early July.
Player images are updated as soon as official photos are available. In some cases, this may take a bit longer.
Player transfers abroad
The player remains in your squad until you sell them. The market value is frozen at the last Bundesliga value.
Special case LaLiga The new market value is shown in the profile, but the player can still only be sold at the frozen Bundesliga value.
Individual league statistics
Individual statistics or custom evaluations for specific leagues are not available. The support team also cannot influence the transfer market.
Changing the admin
To change the admin, send an email to help@kickbase.com
The email should be sent by the current admin and include: Kickbase ID of the new admin Name of the league
If the current admin is no longer active, the new admin can contact support and it will be reviewed. Soon, it will be possible to manage admin changes directly within the app.
